Voyage of the Stain - 1

When this poison portion of my mind
a most feared enemy, yet a seed embraced
awoke within my then untainted consciousness
impurified, wasted, ravaged a waterfall defense
and pierced a wall of relative, instinctive innocence.

A myriadic tear was shed, at first not mine
until black clarity was imposed upon this vision of decline
I thought a funeral appropriate, I assumed a death insidious
and became a slave to captors, warlords, and a lie of infamy.
and yet my chains still rattled,
I, upon a ship in wretched, deep captivity.
